U.S. President Obama to visit Turkey – the nation with a rich background and history of genocides and persecution.

"We share a commitment to democracy, a secular constitution, respect for religious freedom and belief and in free market and a sense of global responsibility," U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said as she announced U.S. President Barack Obama's visit to Turkey early next month.
The question is, does the new Democratic President of the United States of America have knowledge of the fact that in less than a century Turkey has been responsible for slaughtering in cold blood more than 1,500,000 Armenian and 1,000,000 Greek men women and children, without the slightest provocation.
Furthermore, ever since 1922 more than 1.000.000 Greeks and Armenians have been reported by their relatives as missing!
Those that survived were looted, expelled, and finally forced to migrate to Greece and Russia!
In 1918 the New York times was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for its accurate coverage and extensive references to the events, recording death marches, massacres, forced deportations, individual killings, rapes, burning of entire Greek and Armenian villages, destruction of Ancient Greek monuments, Christian churches and monasteries, looting, terrorism and other atrocities against the Greek and Armenian population.
Furthermore, hundreds of Government officials, British and American citizens fell victims to the Turkish atrocities.
My Granfather, Nicolaos Danielidis at the age of 7 fled his village the moment members of his family were being slaughtered by Turkish soldiers.
My Grandmother, Stavroula Christodoulaki, at the tender age of 6 barely managed to escape after witnessing the slaughter of at least 10 of her relatives!
My Grandmother also told me stories of how her beloved Armenian neighbors (men, women, and children) were massacred for no reason whatsoever!
The world media of the time reported these events, yet despite this the global community did nothing to bring those responsible to justice.
Decades later, the atrocities continued as Turkey persecuted and massacred the few remaining Greeks in Istanbul (Constantinople)
The drama continued when on the 20th of July 1974 Turkish forces invaded the island of
Cyprus in two waves, occupying 37% of the island's territory.
Once again those that managed to survive (Greek- Cypriots and British civilians) accuse Turkish soldiers of engaging in massacres, forced deportations, individual killings, rapes, the burning of entire towns and villages.
Even after the invasion thousands of prisoners disappeared from the face of the earth. What happened to these people? Why were they executed and where are they buried?
The Turkish invasion of Cyprus resulted in the displacement of Cyprus' ethnic communities, dividing the island between a Turkish Cypriot north and Greek Cypriot south.
Despite the continuous Turkish barbarities the global community continues to turn its back and pretend as if nothing has happened. Why?
As we speak squadrons of Turkish jet fighters continue to violate Greek air space claiming the popular Greek islands of Rhodes, Samos, Chios, and Lesvos as Turkish!
The New Democratic President of the United States of America is scheduled to visit Turkey in less than one month from now.
Mr. President, for months you have been speaking words of justice and human rights. I believe you are a man of integrity.
Your moment is here. Do the right thing and go down in history as the man that changed the world for the good of all mankind.
